Paul is a Research Associate at the University of Sheffield, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is also a member of the Dynamics Research Group. His research focuses on combining ideas from machine learning and statistics to improve or best utilise physics-based models in engineering applications, with a particular focus in the field of structural health monitoring.
